Upon news that Princeton University is removing Woodrow Wilson’s name from its public policy school and campus buildings, two friends who are Princeton alumni say they are horrified. One wonders “if we will have to change the name of our country because Amerigo Vespucci was European or abolish Martin Luther King Day because Dr. King was opposed to judging people by the color of their skin.” Another writes: “Woodrow Wilson was denied the great privilege we all share of being born in the 20th Century. We were denied being born in the 21st. Thankfully no buildings are named for me. If there were, their names would come crashing down because of my one-time belief, which I shared with virtually every one of my generation,
