I am relieved to discover news of little to no earthquake damage in Cappadocia, a magical region of Turkey filled with fairy chimneys, caves with paintings and frescoes, and remnants of ancient history. Indeed, its hotels are hosting quake survivors from the south whose homes were destroyed.
